Barcelona, a capital that inspires! That’s the motto of this great city and it can not be more true. Attieha & Ashraf were also inspired by the beautiful places that Barcelona has to offer and decided to make this the location of their international wedding. With an unbelievable mix of cultures and traditions, their wedding was full of intimate moments and genuine emotions. Even though the day started with rain pouring down and with a weather that is not habitual for Barcelona, in the afternoon, just in time for the ceremony the shine broke through and warmed our hearts and souls.
Hotel Miramar was the place to get everyone ready and organized, offering at the same time one of the best views over the city, the sea and the port. For the ceremony and reception they chose a really special venue, the Bell Reco mansion situated just outside of Barcelona.
Throughout the day I was delighted to discover different traditions from all around the world – from the Hawaiian tradition of the unity sand ceremony, to the Arabic henna custom and to traditional dances from Rwanda, this wedding was such a beautiful mix of cultures, religions and traditions. I wish I will be able to document more cultural weddings like this one. It is such an honor.
Well enough talking, enjoy some of the photos.
