Leah & Mario

Man, i love destination weddings and how they have the power to bring people together. Leah’s from the UK, Mario’s from Costa Rica, they met each other in Australia and decided to get married in Sitges, Spain. Ohh and now they live in Italy! I thought my life is complicated but looking at others, living between 3 European countries as I am, is actually peace of cake.

Leah and Mario organised their destination wedding in Almiral de la font, Sitges, a lovely city just outside of Barcelona. The setting, a quiet villa on the hills, overlooking the sea, was just too good to be true. Ad some amazing friends from all around the world, some Spanish food and wine, and you have all the ingredients for a perfect wedding.

It was such a genuine pleasure to photograph this wedding and to have my good friend Vlad, as the second photographer that I hope that the universe will bring much more inspiring weddings like this! :)

Even though the party was on, some guests preferred to celebrate in quieter manner. The jet lag doesn’t forgive anyone. I loved the contrast of the wild party in the other room and this guy who slept so peacefully.
