Laura & Radu

This is definitely not your ordinary wedding, where everything goes smooth throughout the day. The wedding of Laura & Radu was a bit of a chaos, just because mother nature decided to take part to this amazing party. It all started like any other day, with photos of the lovely wedding gown and relaxed getting ready shots, but i guess the relaxed part of this wedding ended there.

All of a sudden the sky turned black and a wall of rain was seen coming towards our little venue. An incredible flash storm just ravaged the place for our outdoors ceremony and our open terrace reception. In a matter of a few minutes, everything was pretty much ruined. All those months of planing were soaking wet. I must admit, that was one of those rare moments when my incurable optimism faded a bit.

Amazing table details with a personal touch from mother nature. :) Most of the things were wet, dirty or destroyed.

The bride and groom enjoying their special day while re-planning a big part of it in just a few hours.

Meanwhile guests were rather enjoying the whole experience.

Decision made, wedding still goes according to the initial plan, risking yet another storm.

We’ve got a wedding!

So everyone started helping with out with whatever he could, sweeping the floor, cleaning the plates, drying everything out and replacing destroyed decorations and wet table cloth, allowing the bride and groom to get back to a more “normal” wedding day.

Unfortunately our priest for the day, was rather shy and wanted some privacy so no images of him online. Sorry!

Finally the reception area was back to normal, so it was time to get the party started!

Like any good romanian wedding, tons of alcohol was involved with a few too many shots.

Shots, shots, shots!

Even though the sound of thunders was present throughout the day, rolling from not very far away, we were lucky enough to get away with just that initial thunderstorm. Everything ended with tons of hugs, heartfelt speeches and a lots memories that we will not soon forget. Thank you Laura & Radu for an amazing experience!
