Last week i had the honor to participate in the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) 2013 Convention that took place in the crazy city of Las Vegas. It is the biggest wedding photography convention worldwide, with more than 16.000 photographers coming from all around the world. I had a blast meeting some of the best photographers in the industry, getting inspired and motivated with them, getting together with old friends, meeting new ones, learning a whole lot from everyone and from the hundreds of workshops that were conducted in those few days. It was a week with laughs and cries, with tons of classes and of course with quite a few parties. For some reason i know that this will become some sort of yearly pilgrimage for me, probably something like the Mecca of wedding photography.
With a big list of things, that i want to change / add to my business, with a bag full of new ideas and inspiration, i will be looking forward to this new season.
I left Barcelona and went through London, which was exactly as i left it – cold and wet. What a damp, rainy, miserable day!
What a view of the Hoover Dam!
After a 11 hours of flight – i was finally arriving to my destination, where even though the weather was not the best when i got there, it quickly changed and throughout the week it was always sunny with a perfect temperature of almost 30C.
Great photographers, good vibes and inspiration everywhere! A must have experience! ;)
Good bye Vegas, good bye friends! See you all next year!
